I like the basic idea of the health system, but I think it could use some tweaking. Here's what and why.
[Amount needed]
Not being completely stuffed after eating several cans of food and a complete pack of rice seems a bit unnatural to me. Also the amount of liquid that needs to be consumed seems rediculously high. It seems that in game I need to eat/drink lots and lots more to satisfy my hunger than irl.
[Indication of thirst/hunger]
Because of the large difference, and the lack of indication, it is intuitive to eat when hungry and drink when thirsty. Only upon checking the explanation of the health system on-line I realised I was always balancing on the edge of being under-fed. This basically happened with everyone I know that started playing the game. Needless to say, when you start calling your character a 'whiny little b*tch' because he/she complains about being hungry and thirsty all the time, the game becomes less immersive. When you're not getting a message telling you your stomach is full it is impossible to tell if you're nearly healty or nearly starving. I think it is more natural to have some indication. It doesn't need to be in your face all the time, but perhaps having it next to the action bar would be a good idea.
[repetative eating/drinking]
Eating and drinking becomes repetative, and glitches like drinking without a delay at a well become a welcome relief. The possibility to eat more than one pre-set amount would be nice.
[Eating and drinking sounds]
I understand that eating and drinking can make sound, but the volume and the distance it can be heard from is quite rediculous imho.
Suggestions in short:
*More effect from eating/drinking
*Choice of amount of consumption upon rightclick
*Food/drink indicator next to action bar, showing up when interacting with food/drinks.
*Less sound upon consumption of foods/drinks
I hope my feedback is of use, keep up the good work!
