Any server I join, after about 1 minute of gameplay, I will get a message saying authentication timeout. In addition, the server population page does not load, and I can only join servers on my history list or favorite's list (not all show up on favorites every time, though). Haven't been able to test the friend's list tab yet due to no one being online today.

I have also had this issue. On top of this authentication timeout I then had to wait 280sec to rejoin the server.

PvtRyan, this build for this issue was 114008, a time when the Steam servers were suffering from a massive load of people (which was fixed). The waiting was only added in the recent patch, so I suggest making a new note for your specific case.
