This is not an issue with falling to your death from 'missing' the ladder. Death occurs when climbing the top floor ladder to the smallest roof section at the white School/Office type building. Upon reaching the top of the ladder, you receive black screen with the 'You have died' message. No animation, bleeding or unconsciousness occur.
