This has happened a couple times. No gunshots, no blood, no players, no zombies. My character never glitched or fell or anything like that,(it has happened on flat ground). The You're Dead screen just appears, then a second later the character screams out.

Just happened to me. Version 0.32.114557. Was prone next to the bunks Prison in the Military base in Zelengorsk. Got hurt fot no reason, not attacked in anyway, no bleeding and in perfect health, but I was getting the 'in pain' sound. Stood and just died
i actualy had it happen 2 times and both it was at like 5 in the morning when there was no people in the server just runing on a field and randoomly drop dead for no reason :)
this happened to me last night on an empty server. i clicked "climb ladder down" then blank screen, "you are dead" before i got on the ladder.

I was on the last floor of the hospital

I asked my friend and apparently it was a wall bug and not the sudden death reported here because he found my body outside on the sidewalk.

What did you exactly do while this happened? Did you stay on one spot without moving, opened door, reloaded weapon, run through hallway or something else?
Had a smiliar experience in Cherno hospital I was waiting for a friend and I suddenly died for no reason and he found my body with all my stuff.
I didn't played since then I just updated to exp and launched the game but didn't joined any server (no room).
I attached my dxdiag and Dayz folder (it's a zip because I don't use rar but 7z).
yeah i will try but its really randoom when it happens so i cnat prommise enything i awso see on redit alot of people posted such things about that bug
Ok guys that video is good, but i will also need DxDiag and files from this folder: "C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\"
The best would be if you could delete whole folder ("C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\") and then run the game. Play it till this "You have Died" thing appears again and then make rar file from this folder ("C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\") and upload it here. Thank you.

Yes i can still reproduce it in the latest build. I wasn't able to capture it but will keep trying. I suppose it COULD be a desync, but this time i was just standing still in a castle near NEAF, no glitching occured. Also there was only one player on the server besides me. Not near a window so i would have heard him. I'll keep trying though.
Please let us know in note section if you are still able to reproduce this issue in latest Development build.
If so, please provide us with video (you can make it via Fraps, upload it on some sharing service and post link on it in comment), DxDiag and files from this folder: "C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\"

I have only seen this a couple times Last time i saw it the server i was on shut down and i switched to a server with no one else on, it took a bit longer to load in than normal but when i did i seen a flash of the area i was disconnected in and then your dead screen.
Same as GUnnersbane: serveur shut down (I was in the airfield near a wall)= > i switched to a server with no one else on = > after the loading, I died for no reason.
