I believe there's an issue with the implementation of backpacks and server stability.
Since I've discovered the 35-slot backpacks only take up 25 slots inside another backpack, I've been stacking them to have virtually unlimited inventory space (+10 slots for every backpack found).
I currently have about a dozen 35-slot mountain backpacks inside each other, which was working fine as I played last night, but upon logging into new servers today, none of my gear can be accessed or used (stuck on "Receiving.."), and the server will crash within a minute or two.
While the backpack stacking is useful without the implementation of tents and vehicles to store extra gear, this needs to be fixed soon before it is heavily exploited. I'd suggest either simply making the backpack take up as many inventory slots as it has in another backpack, or only allow empty backpacks to be placed inside another. (Or to ensure there's no problem with unlimited gear assigned to a player, don't allow backpacks to be placed in each other at all.)
I'm a software engineer for a major AAA franchise, and I know exploits like this need to be set to a critical priority. I'm setting the view status to private to hopefully prevent others from discovering this issue.
