I play DayZ at home on my Desktop and when I'm on the go with my laptop but whenever I join a DayZ server on my laptop after getting an m4 or whatever other gear I might have on my desktop my character is deleted or it creates a seperate character for my laptop

Do you mean the character that shows up in the main menu or your actual ingame character?
