Regardless of the height, zombies can attack you whilst climbing ladders, even if you are well out of range. I reached the top of the ladder trying to escape a zombie, but found that he still hit me, causing me to bleed out.

Steps To Reproduce
Get zombie aggro, and then climb a ladder to try and escape. Stay near the top, and you will find the zombie can still hit you.
Additional Information
Not a major issue, but could be annoying for people instinctivly trying to climb up to freedom.
