I am not able to put books into my hands or read notes never has worked. I also am not able to open up a map. Last I cant chamber bullets into the fnx45 pistol and M4 rifle. I just remebered I also cant attach weapon flashlight to any weapon.

Chambering bullets will not work (only with a revolver). You will have to find a magazine.

@Cerdo: yes that translation is correct. Well, I was thinking in a practical manner, but a book burning feature might be too crass considering there's so much wood around. So yeah, crafting recipes found in in random books would be a better purpose...

a pile of books makes an excellent fireplace... I hope they'll add this feature, books are a nice gimmick but otherwise useless. Unless there will be crafting recipes, which makes looting and investigating books worthwhile.

wait... you can actually read some of these great works of literature that are found throughout the game world? not really high on my list of things to do while in a game (i have a bathroom for reading lol) but still a neat feature if true!
