I logged out in Mogilevka and quit the game for awhile. I had food, water, guns and a backpack when I logged out. I came back to play some more and my character with all his gear displayed like normal on the start screen. When I joined a server however, I was on the coast as a new spawn with no gear. I logged out to join another server, to verify I hadn't joined a private hive, but my character was on the coast with nothing but a fucking flashlight.
