If you are using a flashlight inside a building, everyone outside can see you because the light can pass throught the walls (no, i'm not talking about windows).

Can confirm this,
Steps to repro:

  1. Join a night server
  2. Enter a building
  3. either have a head torch or flashlight & turn on
  4. you can see beam through the wall

I confirm for flashlight, never tried with the head torch.

When I was playing with other people, one had a head torch and the exact same thing was happening.
