When i start DayZ i get the Bohemia logo, then i get to the Dayz logo and the game goes in to a black screen and freeze/crash. When this happens my Disk usage drops to 0 CPU usage varies slightly and the ram stays at 270~ mb's. I have tried what i could find in posts, anything from driver updates to -safe, -windowed, disabling screens, reinstalling windows (even tried different versions of windows) When i reinstalled Windows 8 it worked once and when i got home from uni i had the same problems as before.
The same problem goes for Arma II and Combined Operations so its not isolated to DayZ but to Bohemia Games. Atleast the ones i have.
