I was on the top (middle actually, as high as you can get) of the circular tower in the power plant near Elektrozavodsk lying down on the edge, maybe with the sniper vision i don't remember.

The thing is, i pressed X to crouch and my character take a step ahead and falled down, but hey, no harm done. Not even a broken leg.

I have fallen before from lower heights and even died.
