Description

After login in on a server, I received the message (in red letters in the lower left corner of the screen) that my character couldn't be loaded, was reset and that I should contact an admin. After that I received a message in the middle of the screen, which said that I should reconnect to a server. It also included a restart button. I did reconnect to another server where I started with a fresh character. All progress was lost!

Unfortunately I can't remember the server names, but they were all German servers.

Steps To Reproduce
  1. Play a character until he has nearly everything the game has to offer at the moment.
  1. Disconnect from the server and close the game via the "close" button in the game menu.
  1. Start the game.
  1. Use the "play" button after the game menu is visible. The avatar next to the game menu wasn't visible at this time (black background).
  1. Choose a server and join it. The avatar was still not visible at this time I suppose.
  1. Receive the message from above and lose all progress.

The character reset must have happened around 14:00 to 15:00 GMT+1

Great game, but please get rid of the character resets.

Happened to me on US West server. Server provider was Vilayer. It did not tell me to notify an administrator, though, it told me that an admin has been notified.

did it give you a message in red letters? or did it say testing 1 2 3?

I had 2 resets in last 5 hrs playing. Change server and pray.
