When panning the camera in third person around the player character, weapon attachments, like hand guards, magazines, stocks, etc, will disappear, leaving only the bare weapon visible. If a handgun is present in a chest holster, this will also disappear when the weapon attachments on the primary weapon disappear. The attachments are not removed from the inventory or altered in any way, they simply become invisible.
