DayZ.cfg / localVram not match a card vram

Description

I have a AMD Radeon HD7970 with 3GB DDR5 Memory onboard.

DayZ detect only 2GB and save in DayZ.cfg.

Manual change not resolving the problem.

I Attach a cfg file (screenshot)

  1. Have a card (HD7970 or another GPU Card) with 3gb
  2. Install game
  3. Run the game
  4. check the DayZ.cfg file

I can confirm this with my GTX 780 Ti. Only 2048MB of my 3072MB are being recognized by the game. As long as you are not playing in 4K resolutions or similar no detrimental effect to performance is to be expected from this.

same here, I have a gtx 580 with approx. 4047mb and only 2048mb is being recognized.

I have a R9 280X 3GB and ... me too

but I have 2GB in "localVRAM" and 1GB in "nonlocalVRAM" = 3GB

So my all 3GB are detected ... Perhaps not an issue
