Death Screen & Unconscious Screen
New, WishlistPublic

Description

For me I think that the current "your are dead" screen in all lowercase is a bit of a downer. In the mod you could see your character die and then the fancy "Your Are Dead" screen would come up. Now its just like "Gunshot" BAM "you are dead". It's so quick, there's no transition into the death screen. Personally I think that it would be much more fun if it gave stats of your life in the death screen or something (Will post example in attachments) Also to do with the "you are unconscious" screen. Maybe it should instead show you fall over, and just have some kind of transparent text that says "You are unconscious" instead of just a black screen and the bold text, or even better, it could show the text and you can have some kind of a blurred view of your character passed out, and to add to the immersion, maybe as you're getting up your vision can be slightly blurry until you fully come into consciousness. The current death screen and unconscious screen totally kill the immersion factor that needs to be in the game. {F29059}

You're dead. Vision and hearing are both senses you are not going to need anymore. All immersion ended with you... not actually being in the world anymore. Why would you want to hang around as a corpse....

Oh, wait! This is a zombie game.

Hey, Rocket! IDEA! Killed players come back as Player-Character Zombies!!

Ohhh... but I really love that stats screen... want that!

I completely agree with Policebear here the "you are dead" & "you are unconscious" screens are to abrupt/fast it completely kills the immersion.

Really like the idea about having blurred vision while unconscious as not to give to much information away to close by team mates/friends.
