If you are joining a server you can see "Direct communication" in the left bottom.

Sometimes you can hear people talking global. If you are joining a server and talk while you can see "Direct communication" people can often hear you.

This still happens on eperimental 0.44.123800
Depending how fast you load in the microphone is open serveral seconds.
This happens always I log in. Keybind for Von is middle mouse button.

I had a similar problem where it was always on even if i joined a new server. I fixed it by pressing the chat key (for typing) or restart the whole game.
