Randomly after loading the game I will be taken to the "alpha warning" screen but unable to click "I understand". The mouse is using the regular cursor rather than the DayZ custom cursor and it changes to a hand as I move it around the screen, indicating that the mouse is highlighting things "underneath" DayZ. I can use the arrow keys to navigate the menu but it is nigh on impossible to play. Restarting the game occasionally fixes the issue, however it crops up on a large number of my game startups.

raryin, try shutting down all overlay software, fraps, teamviewer, teamspeak, playclaw, skype etc.
Check any super-specific software in your system that can hook graphics or controls, may be some xmouse or xpadder etc. Good luck.

Please let us know if you are still able to reproduce this issue in latest Development build.
To solve your problem we need dxdiag and all files from this folder: "C:\Users\<Name>\AppData\Local\DayZ\"
