Periodically screen can turn very blurry for no apparent reason, going into settings fixes this.

Description

I'm not sure if this a bug or a feature, at first I thought that I was getting sick because my screen kept getting stuck blurry, almost like it is out of focus. A few times I have spawned in fresh with a blurry screen.

Regardless, it seems that if my screen is blurry, no matter what the cause, if I go into video settings then back out without changing anything my visuals sharpen up to a normal state.

I don't know if this is a bug with the game glitching and blurring my screen, and me fixing it by going into settings, or if I am bypassing a intentional mechanic by using an exploit with the graphics settings. Without status indicators to show some type of effect that would cause my screen to become blurry I am in the dark on what exactly is bugged here.

My screen has become blurry when I have not had bleeding, hunger, thirst, or a reasonable source of illness however, so it may be simply a graphics issue. I will update with screenshots next time it happens.

Mine does this too, I am completely fed and watered and show no signs of sickness so there should be no reason for it to be blurry (I think). I have the same graphics card as you but run Win7 64bit.

Not only does it do the blurry thing on logging into a server, sometimes it will do a full on graphics glitch (I've provided screenshots of this but not the blurryness) which will only go away once I've gone to the video settings.

I am having the same issue as both users above me. Thanks for posting.

I've gotten this a time or two as well with a R9 280x

It's really kind of odd, the barcode type of blurring shown in the screenshots that someone kindly attached only seems to occur for me when I am at menu screen before playing the game. In game I simply get what looks like a Gaussian blur effect that can only be cleared by going to video and backing out. I'm sure these two are related however.

I get this both in the menu, and ingame when logging in.

Also, going into video settings also clears any blurred vision you get from being tired/hungry.
