Bandaging with axe in hands glitches your character

Description

Tried to bandage with backpack and baseball bat on back, split axe in hands. When bandaging axe was stored in backpack and bandaging was aborted.

Trying to bandage again returned "You are already using something" or the like.

After some fiddling I managed to bandage but my character is now moaning and groaning all the time.
