I tried to fill up 2 water bottles, both of which I assigned into seperate "action bar" slots (5 and 6), the action bar would not distinguish between the two and would only select one of them, meaning I had to manually put the other in my hands to fill it up.

I'm not sure if this works the same with other items, I did not try it.
