Here is another example:
-Full inventory
-M4 with 30 round mag
-Swapping 30 round mag with 10 round mag
-30 round mag disappears due to the lack of space in your inventory instead of being placed in the vicinity

I just tried this. This is fixed/never was a thing
Items got replaced like they should, 1 got dropped other is in inventory.
Your mag did not show up on ground because of desync.
This should be closed.

Hi,
Closing as fixed as I do not believe this is an issue any more.
There may be cases where the game forces an item into the inventory without space causing that item to disappear, however this is covered in another ticket.
