Certain bookshelf models are tall enough that when an item is spawned on the very top, it is impossible to get line of sight on it/make it appear in vicinity. Will upload a screenshot as soon as I'm able to get back in game.

Find loot spawned on the very top of the tallest bookshelf/hutch models.
Try to loot.

Stand as close as you can and open your inventory "Default TAB". Item should show up on the left usually.

Tried for at least 5 minutes to grab a book on top of a wooden shelf. Could not grab it no matter what I did- it was simply out of reach. Now I ignore things up on those shelves...
