After losing some blood I ate + drink enough to fill water and energy (messages: I'm really full, well fed, etc)... After approximately 2h there was no sign of regeneration at all. The view was still almost completely gray (light green colors). I kept eating / drinking from time to time over this 2h. There were no negative messages like dizzy, faint etc...
After waiting so lon, my mate found a bloodbag set + iv set etc...
I took blood from him and he gave it to me. Transfusion was successful according to text message. But I didn't gain any more "color", instead I fell unconscious 10sec later.

While the rest sounds like a bug, did you make sure the blood was compatible? There are different blood types in this game and you might have killed yourself by a hemolytic reaction? I think thats what it is, but basically your body rejects the blood because it is different and you die. Also, health only regenerates when your blood is full. This might need further testing. :/

i didnt test the Bloodtypes, i was not aware that this is already a feature in the alpha...
on regeneration:
Blood should regenerate when you are full on food and water ---> colors should come back like in the mod...
i cant give specific informations about my "health" status, the only thing i can say is, that there were no status indicators in the inventory or chat...
EDIT: OMG im sorry, i wrote "health" in the topic instead of blood... i meant blood-regeneration!

I have been having a similar problem. Slowly my screen gets gray and no matter how much I eat, drink, or rest i pass out eventually.
