try joining a server with the current version 113772. if you have the updated version on your client, and the server you are on is an older version, it may not allow you to interact with items and doors.

EDIT: Just checked: The server was updated to the current version. Doors still not openable.

Which version are you on and which version is the server on that you're trying to connect to?

problem is not on every server, just found one where everything is fine...

I'll leave this open for now for any additional feedback from users.

This happened to me as well. After switching servers inside of a building i spawned into the same room all the doors closed. I tried to open all the doors but none would open (not even giving me the option to open them). Switching the server resolved the problem however.

There was a problem with some servers not reporting the correct version.
