I can't open doors and tried changing the key bind but still the same result. Also, the option to open the door does not appear.

same here, no interaction possible, gates etc the same

Make sure you're on the right server version. Check which version of the client you're running and make sure the server is the same. You can find the client version on the main menu I believe, and filter for the last numbers in the server browser.

same. I've validated my client and servers "match". I even removed and reinstalled from Steam.
