So, I'm going to list all of the problems I've encountered with zombies thus far.

  1. They can walk through fences/walls/other various thing
    • If you're being chased, don't expect a fence to stop up a zombie, they will easily slide through them.
    • As well as fences, they can also walk through doors and walls, making interiors a bad place to go if you're aggro'd.
  1. They can track you far too well.
    • After being chased by a zombie for a while, I SHOULD HAVE lost him but he found his way right to me after about 10 seconds of myself being hidden beside a house. Running far from a zombie is one thing, but being found after hiding out of site is another.
  1. They just stand there even when you approach them.
    • I can walk/run/jog/crawl up to a standing zombie and axe him/her before they take a single step. They should be able to detect you easier than that.

I think that about covers everything for now.

Steps To Reproduce

Find a zombie and let it chase you (if you can get it to sense your presence), try to lose that zombie (it's usually harder than it should be) Run over fences and through buildings.

these 3 have been fixed

  1. navmesh
  2. they have totally new AI that is being worked on
  3. new AI
