Have only seen it once but a friend has also had the same issue.

Thought I had taken screenshots, unfortunately I pulled a Rocket and must have pressed the wrong button.

I have had this issue aswell last night while playing in first person mode. When using alt to look around you can see the circle cross-hair casting a shadow on the ground.
