I have the problem as well. Was on a server running around and using the lamp, changed the server because of a friend and it didn't work anymore. The lamp says it's badly damaged, don't know if it said that when it worked.

Happened to me as well, just as it happened to chronerion. Switched servers and the light on the lamp is there, but the environment remains unlit.

Two hours ago I tried my portable gas lamp with a large gas canister both in good condition. Worked fine for me when holding it in my hand and putting it on the ground. Night time inside a building. Perhaps reporters lamp is broken.

It happened again to me. Was playing on a server and got a gas lamp with a large gas canister, put them together and it worked. I then played for about 30min & lamp still works. I log out for a pause and when I log back in 30min later it doesn't work anymore. The lamp+gas canister says quality is "pristine", if I detach the gas canister from the lamp the lamps quality is "pristine", the gas canisters quality is "worn".
