I messed with filter options and then I couldn't see any servers no matter how many minutes I waited. And yes, I made sure that I had selected internet tab and then refresh. So I changed it back to default and I still couldn't see any servers even though there must have been over 100 of them visible when server window worked.
I closed DayZ and launched it again and still the problem persisted. Then I closed DayZ AND Steam and that solved the problem.
I tried to replicate that problem, but this time the filter worked just fine.

this ticket is pretty old and might have been related to a steam problem at that time you reported it. I'm assuming it's not a problem anymore.
