When using a gas lamp with gas occasionally it does not illuminate the surroundings.

This may of course be due to a lack of gas, but there is no way to tell if the gas is empty as it it could still be 'pristine'

Perhaps a feature like 'Right click -> Examine' "You feel the can, it feels empty" or "You pick up the can, it feels reasonably full" would be useful?
