I had something similar happen, If you swapped a mag for a mag, it should have just used the exact same spot?

Was the 'cartridge' the same size as the one you reloaded with?

the mag was bigger, a mag of 60 bullets...

usually what happens in dayz mod or ama2 in general if you have no inventory space the item is destroyed
