Same. i also died with good kit too because i could not find food or any drinks anywhere.

I'm happy with the way it is. You gotta be tough to survive and smart with your looting patterns. No more running around from one town to some airfield without stocking up and planning your route. Also, it's not hard to find food. You just have to be light on your feet and check in places where others haven't.

Yeah, food spawns aren't too high or too low, in my opinion! Different servers vary in loot! Maybe it's all been looted, for me it's just about right. Gives you a reason to scavenge and explore locations!

Food is plentiful now, though the devs have said that once cooking and hunting is properly in, they will reduce the spawns of non-perishable foods.

Food spawn rates have been increased drastically. It could happen that on a full server, you might not find much due to the other players. But that's a different issue, hence closing this ticket.

Feel free to open a new one if you should encounter this issue again.
