I was attacked by a female zombie and I had a hammer equipped, none of my hits registered regardless of where I was attacking. Head / Shoulders/ looking down / changing viewpoint, nothing registered as a hit. Another zombie approached me as well during the same engagement and no hits registered to him with the hammer.
