Could grab and put on hands inventory(bottom) a lot of spray desinfectants from a desk and it does not desapear;
Also done with an rotten apple;
(When u put it on the backpack it does desapears)

Looks like its not a bug, the bottom is not an inventory but a shortcuts thing (so you dont actualy grab the item)

Moving an item to the hotbar does not place the item in your inventory. If you move away from the item or use it completely you will not be able to continue using that item.
