I have the same error as you do however I'm able to play anywhere from 5-30 minutes before I get that error. What OS are you using/ specs do you have? Maybe we can find a common item?

Not sure, but my pc can run the other ARMA, DayZ mods ok so not to sure why this occurs?

It's a different game simple as that. The game will not have been made the same way as the games prior to it. However what are you using, like Windows XP, Windows 7, Windows 8? Also for your computer specs I mean your processor, graphics card, ram etc, which can be found (for me since I use XP) if you click control panel (off the start menu) and then system.

Specs:

Windows XP professional
Motherboard? Gigabyte Tech M52S-S3p
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core Processor 5200+, MMX, 3DNOW
DirectX 9.0c (4.09.0000.0904)
NVIDIA GeForce 7600 GT (intergrated RAMDAC) 256mb
Display: 1440 x 900 (32bit 75Hz)

Hmm. The only thing we have in common is the Windows XP. The most likely problem then (based off of just us) is the Operating System of XP.

yeah you may be right. I am hoping there is a quick fix for this. I assume we just sit and wait patiently?

Pretty much. The solution may end up having to be updating the operating system to Windows 7 (screw Vista). I planned on doing that after exams but would like if there could be some fix for those unable to do so.

But DayZ not supported Windows XP.
