I was swimming near the docks, because I saw these islands that I wanted to go out to. Turns out they're outside the map, and I can't reach them. I turned back, and tried to get back on the rocks I came from. Well, I kinda floated through the rocks, and found out I was automatically swimming forward for quite a while. Eventually i was able to stop, but I was stuck in the rocks and could only move the camera vertically. I couldn't respawn, so I logged out.
