The xbox 360 controller support is almost the same as the Arma2 support but it is missing 2 key functions.
This should raise the item in hands or put it away.
Currently it does nothing.
This works to fire guns however you can not attack with melee weapon or with your fists out. Using trigger does nothing in those cases.
If these issues can be fixed than the controller support will be the same as Arma2 which is adequate for now.
A friend of mine who recently converted to the pcmasterrace is haveing major issues do to the fact that he is missing the index, middle, and ring finger on his left hand making keyboard use for a game inpossible. He loves the game and where it is going but is refusing to purchase it due to the above stated issues. Thank you.
when i use my xbox controller (which i rarely do in this game, the inability to invert my y axis renders me noob) i still use my pinky fingers on my keyboard to cover the missing functions that the controller just doesnt have enough buttons to cover.
I was really hoping to have moderate controller support for this game as in ARMA III. So many buttons do nothing. A great example of what should be done to access items or interacting with players can come from BF4. Holding a bumper button brings up a dozen options and you simply select it with your right thumb stick. Please get some controller support in the game. It would be nice to not have to purchase a game pad(nostromo)/new mouse to play comfortably. Ive been console gaming for 25 years, just switched to PC less than a year ago. Help me out guys.
