This is a long standing problem, that got worse as my main terrain I'm developing grew bigger.
I am getting very low performance on Buldozer while working on my terrain.
Problems are various:
- Select an object -> it gets deselected after a second
- Rotate an object -> rotation gets reset after a second
- Move an object -> object gets back to the original location
- Move a group of objects -> they don't move all together, ruining the expected result
If I place buldozer on right monitor and terrain builder on left one, I can see that sometimes Terrain Builder has microfreezes and when this happens, I get the above rubberbanding.
So far I tried a lot of ways to fix this, none of them really solved the problem:
- set core affinity to separate core usage between TB and Buldozer
- set process priorities
- re-made my P drive entirely
- upgraded my hard drive to SSD
