CTD Exiting Attributes Editor for Grouped Units
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

Using the Entities Tab on the left-hand side of the Eden editor to edit the attributes of an entry via it's callsign, brings up the Edit, CompositionObject panel as expected. Selecting OK once finished editing causes a CTD with the message:

The instruction at 0x0000000001C9DD95 referenced memory at 0x0000000000000004. The memory could not be read.

Additional Information

Testing this in DEV Build 1.55.134119.

Using the CANCEL button to exit the panel works fine, as does editing attributes of the individual units under the Callsign.

Have included .bidmp, .mdmp & .rpt files from two individual runs displaying this behaviour.

DJPorterNZ edited a custom field.

CTD happens if you sellect a unit in the 3D view and try to edit the attributes there, too.

I was able to reproduce that crash too.
I attached my crashdump files to the ticket.

  1. open Eden
  2. place a random unit somewhere on the map
  3. right click on the callsing (f.e. Alpha 1-1)
  4. choose Attributes
  5. press OK in the Attributes menu
