semi-functional screen freeze, in-game multiplayer

Description

Within 10 minutes of joining a server and getting into the game, my screen will freeze. Whatever I might be doing in game, shaders will cease and i will be frozen unable to move, heli rotors for instance stop moving and no sound. I can still send chat messages, but I doubt they are received by anyone. I can press esc and back out into the server lobby, but am unable to join again unless i relog into the server (and probably lose my coveted pilot spot in the process).

This happens not only on my desktop gaming pc, but also on my gaming laptop, which is even beefier than the desktop, and even when i lower the settings considerably (I'm willing to skimp on everything but my 1920x1080 @ 100% sampling).

In both cases, I am running dual monitors, with the bigger monitor used for game rendering. {F27774}

RPT file shows something consistently everytime i experience this crash, which a google search returns nothing.

Hello,

we are sorry you are experiencing issues with our game.
Could you please export your game log files from the launcher (make sure to run the game without any mods)?

Steps on how to export logs from ARMA 3 Launcher:

  1. Start ARMA 3 Launcher
  2. Click the Hamburger menu tab in the launcher (Top right corner. Next to Options (Cog wheel icon) and Minimize Button)
  3. Drop down menu will appear
  4. Select: Prepare Arma Troubleshooting error and save those files
  5. A notification will pop up with the name of the generated file

Please note that the files might take a while to collect.

Attach the generated files to the ticket. If the files are too big please use some free file sharing service.

File uploaded. Thank you for the response and consideration. If you'd like, I can also perform the same operations you instructed and attach the same file from my desktop computer. The current one is from my gaming laptop.

Hello,

if possible, please try to run the game on both your computers, however, make sure to play without any mods on both computers.

Then look up the report files (if bidmp or mdmp file with same name/timestamp are created, include them also).

Files you have attached were created for session with mods running and there is not much we can do about that.
