I feel that a very welcomed modification could be made to the way key bindings function. I propose that instead of the broad categories of "Weapons" and "General" in the in-game controls, this could be broken down into many categorys such as "Infantry" or "Ground Vehicles" or "Helicopters" or "Fixed Wings". This could be used to establish key bindings that do not conflict with each other when crossing vehcles, such as the ability to use F to fire in an attack helo but also use F to switch weapon modes as infantry, or using T to lock a target as infantry but using T to fire a ground vehicle's weapon. These are keyboard examples, but this would improve controller functionality greatly.
