Description

That's the title one of my players expressed his frustration when an AI mortar man, managed with the supports module, starts to say this in a "nearly infinite" loop.

Support modules are partially working. I have seen this issues:

  • AI sometimes refuses to accomplish orders.
  • UI Radio 0-8 sometimes get's stuck in some part of the dialog prior to the number of shells to be fired.
  • kbTell sometimes appears in wrong order.
  • Unlimited loops of "Splash Out"

Those issues may not happen when you set a classical mission editor scenario with manually placed units, modules etc..

My scenario has:

  • Dynamic addition or removal of who's the player which can request supports.
  • JIP and Respawn of that player.
  • Non virtual: Support vehicles are spawned and synched to the module, and deleted on depsawn.
  • Some mortars are mounted and dismounted, attached and detached to other vehicles to simulate a mobile motorised mortar squad.

AFAIK there are some issues found since Nexus but I am not totally sure they are related to this or not.

Hard to reproduce, but in this mission almost all the player base had this experience after some gameplay timing.

It's very hard to test, and it does not drop any error on .rpt, and AFAIK there is not a step by step to reproduce the error. Just recruiting a mortar squad and use it.
