I recently noticed that arma 3 was on beta for Mac and since i don't have a PC anymore I decided to download it. The download went fine but whenever i try to play it it hangs on the loading splash screen with the logo and everything. it loads everything (plugins, add ons, initializing, the profile) then the splash screen disappears. the icon remains in my dashboard like it should and nothing seems unusual other than the fact that nothing loads in at all no screen no music nothing. I decided to be patient and waited thinking it may just take a while for the first launch so I let it run a few hours (giving it a chance) and i came back to my computer a few hours later to find it had crashed. ive tried this a few times with the same result. i understand this is a beta version and bugs will be present but i at least expected to get to a menu of some sort or see some sort of screen. i also know im not the only one to deal with this issue. ive seen plenty of other mac users post the same question when i tried to find a fix on my own. every single time someone asks about this no one answers at all be it on the dev linked public forums, Reddit, even on this site. i seen tons of responses to the linux users but it seems us mac users are again pushed to the way side. please help me figure out this issue i know this game is playable on mac because there are some people who have been able to play this on mac through the steam beta but others facing the same issue like myself.

Hi, we had some issues with our feedback tracker, so I am sorry for the late reply.
We give a special care to all platforms. Mac users are very important to BI and there is no favouritism towards any particular OS on Arma III Linux/Mac port. It might just seem otherwise, since Linux users tend to write more and it is general practise to become part of online community regarding software for Linux distros.
We have tested ported Arma many times on supported HW configurations.
Please check here https://dev.arma3.com/ports , if your MAC PC is same or above the minimal requirements.
If yes, please try the Mac Arma again. It should run smoothly now. If not, please let it crash. It should generate the crash report. It will generate the identification number (should look like this : Y3O426KIDE ) when you send it. Please save the number and write it here in the comment. We may check, what went wrong this way.
Thanks for your help.
