in case of an error Launcher may create a text file with error report on the desktop. Do you have any such file on your desktop?

Also you may try to start Launcher in safe mode: press and hold Ctrl+Shift while you start Launcher until a message box appears.

After you go through those two message boxes, Launcher should appear.
If it does, go to Launcher options and check disable Launcher's hardware acceleration (or you can do the same by choosing Yes on that particular question when you start Launcher in safe mode)
