I have the same problem with you, can't solve

Run directly from arma3 file (arma3battleye) you can skip the login into the game

Hello,
thank you for reporting this issue. I've found an error in our Polish localization that is causing the crash.

Unfortunately that issue is with the 'Generic error' message, so that means there is yet another error which causes the message box to be displayed. Could you please upload Launcher logs so we can determine exact cause (http://arma.jiripolasek.com/howtos.html)?

Hello,
the logs shows that the root cause is loading of the "SteamLayerWrap.dll" library.

I'd suggest to:

  1. Go to Arma 3 folder and delete the Launcher sub-folder (E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Arma 3\Launcher in your case).
  2. Run verification of Steam cache.
  3. Un-install Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2013 (x86)
  4. Restart the computer.
  5. Re-install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 (x86): https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Note: you have to install x86 version of the VC++ package even if you have 64-bit system.

It does not work the same

Sorry to hear that. I've couple of suggestions how to find the cause of this error:

Hello,
the DWI file you uploaded shows that you have wrong version of files "MSVCR120.DLL" and "MSVCP120.DLL" which are files from Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable 2013 package. There are two sets of these files, one for 32 bit and other for 64 bit and they are mixed on your computer, you have 64 bit version in place of 32 bit file.

  1. Go to a folder "C:\Windows\SysWOW64" (only and exactly this one) and locate those two files mentioned above in this folder.
  2. Rename or remove them.
  3. Re-install Visual C++ Redistributable Packages for Visual Studio 2013 (x86): https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784 (the Repair option will be enough this time).

May I ask, did you previously uninstalled the VC++ Redist 2013 package or did you just repair it without uninstalling?

uninstalling. Thank works! you are awesome

I'm glad I could help. Thank you for your cooperation and enjoy the game.
