I'm not sure if this has ever been reported. But the AI as a gunner in, say a gorgon, having NV and thermal vision at its disposal is still blind as a bat during the night. It doesn't shoot even when you (as a human player) looks at the person at 50 meters distance in open field. The gunner is simply not responding. It detects shooting vehicles a bit better, but nothing up to par.
