Description

We have ourselves solved this by adding 0.1-0.2 altitude for all the heli/plane spawning related to our code and functions. However, until we can save down and spawn all global vehicles over/after restart with our own dll and database, we are relying on the epoch mod to do just that for our server. We noticed how the same exploding bug happened now and then to vehicles spawned by our own scripts (custom crafting/traders/lotteries), and once we added a bit of altitude to the vehicle's spawn location, this annoying, game breaking bug stopped. Until we have our own dll and way of saving everything over restart, we will perhaps dig into epoch's code and try to add some altitude to vehicles saved and spawned over/after restart.. However, it would be nice if this could be resolved by you guys (BI). It is truly driving players mad when it happens.

Steps To Reproduce

Spawn any aircraft at z=0 (ground-level). Get in as driver. 20-40% (very hard to tell exactly how often it happens - even while testing with 50+ vehicles - may be higher or lower %) of times it will go BOOOOOM!! xD

Additional Information

Something that may help track this annoying bug down - is that shooting your heli or plane before getting in resolves the problem (from what I know through testing on 50+ vehicles one night..)
