Launcher launches then shuts itself down after couple of seconds
Closed, ResolvedPublic

Description

I click on Arma 3 in steam to launch it and it doesn't show up. When launching it and looking at the task manager, I see that it starts up and then instantly shuts down. This happened after I restarted my computer. Launching it from the files doesn't work either. I can launch the game via the arma3.exe in the files though.

This is what I got when I looked in the files

2015-06-30 15:04:08,573 [ERROR] 1: App [Launcher.App.SetCulture:0] Error occured while setting UI thread fallback culture.

Hello,

there's an issue with automatic repair of corrupted user settings. Corrupted user settings is not detected correctly and the application the continue to run and crash because of it.

Try to run following hotfix, it will remove corrupted settings: http://arma.jiripolasek.com/files/CorruptedUserSettingsHotfix.zip The same hotfix is also available as a part of Arma 3 Tools (Development branch).

Yep, this fixed my problem.
Thanks!
