All A3 air vehicles with wheels or not, seems to be colliding with the geo lod on "building"structures as the nimitz, when they try to take off or land.
PS. Other vehicles like car and quad bike not have the same problem.

Steps To Reproduce
There are many ways to reproduce, but i find this to be best.
1 - You can use the uss nimitz addon or just use a big enough building platform like a concrete pier.
2 - Place a plane or a helicopter with wheels
3 - Try to take off from it or drive around on it, (when moving you will notice jumps like gaps)
4 - Finally when plane reaches its full damage state it will explode
